Hello darlings!

Well, I told you on the last post to stay tuned, and here’s why – more exciting news from Camp Gertie! I was really having to hold back not to spill the beans last time, but Stevie had asked me to wait until he had finished sorting out a couple of things, so I had to curb my enthusiasm. Now, however, I can say it – Stevie has opened his own delivery service!

That’s right, it’s ‘big personal news’ month here at the blog, and I, for one, could not be happier. I am so very proud of Stevie! I remember when he quit his corporate job to become a man-and-van. We all thought he was batty and barmy and daft and all those other things we Brits call someone who takes a chance. Most of all, we thought he had no idea of what he was doing. But he did, and he proved us all wrong.

That is why I’m finally getting into courier work: while he has interviews with couriers and builds a staff for his delivery service, Stevie asked me – along with his Dad and a handful of his mates – to help out. Just to get his company’s name out there, you know? I was, of course, happy to help, and I was pleased to see that the same was also true of everyone else – although seeing my brother in a reflective jacket is a bit of a laugh. At least Stevie did not make him wear a uniform!

So now that you know, my dears...help us out. Tell all your friends! We’re only extremely local at the minute, but I know my nephew has big plans and wants to put Steven’s Delivery Service (yes, he genuinely could not come up with a better name!) on the national map in the long run. I believe he can do it – do you?
