Hello, dears!
Well, our last reader interaction, from two weeks ago, was so popular that I've decided to do another one on a somewhat more serious subject than usual. Somebody once said you have to give the people what they want - and dear old Gertie is certainly not one to go against that! That is why, this week, we will once again be tackling a subject that is about more than just having a laugh – we'll actually be talking about things that might be considered very relevant to the everyday life of a courier.
Specifically, this week's reader interaction has to do with owner driver jobs. This subject tends to come up quite often whenever we discuss courier work and it seems this way of operating is getting more and more popular as time goes by. Some of you know my own nephew is an owner-driver, and if what I see every time you lot write in is accurate, so are many of you out there. So, this one's for you; today, we'll be talking about the very best aspects of taking on owner driver jobs – straight from the horses' mouths, so to speak.
That's right, if you're an owner driver, this week here at Gertie's Cafe you'll have the chance to tell everybody exactly why you love your job so much! And because we don’t want any negativity around here, I don't want to hear about any grumbles you've got, just the good bits. 'Tis the season to be jolly, after all!
