Hello, darlings!

Well...it appears summer has come early this year, doesn't it? We were all ready to make the usual jokes about the three days of British summer, then Britain hits us with a proper one for once! Oh, there's still rain, of course – there had to be – but I have spent more time soaked from a cold shower than a 'cold shower', if you know what I mean...

Still, sunny weather is no excuse to shirk one's responsibilities – which is why I have forced myself up out of my garden chair to come type this post up for all of you. And although I know you lot probably aren't as lazy as I am (it's probably a bit hard to be lazy when you make a living doing courier jobs), I didn't want to do anything too involved or technical. Which is why I went with that old favourite, the reader interaction!

That's right, today we'll be dipping into Gertie's well of questions about courier jobs yet again. Well, it's not really a well, it's more like a lucky dip - in that you never know what you're going to get! And today, we've got a good'un. Are you ready?

Drumroll please...

...And our question of the day is...

"Do you like to do courier jobs in hot weather, and why or why not?"

That's it. Literally as simple as that. I told you I didn't want you taxing your brains too much in this heat, didn't I?

So please write in and let me know your thoughts on doing delivery work when it's warm out there. Not as warm as it has been lately (because when has that ever happened in Britain?), but, you know, warmer than usual. Do you like it? Do you wish you were in
Magaluf instead? Are you indifferent? Let us know! (It certainly didn't make this list anyhow, so that's good news!)

I'll be waiting for those answers to come in. In the garden. It's too hot to wait by the computer.

Until next week, my dears.

Ta-ra!

Gertie
