Making Courier Jobs Cool

Written by Gertie | 20-Apr-2017 16:58:08

Hello, darlings!

Before we even begin, I want to get something straight: that title up there, it's a pun. You'll see what on in a moment, but yes – if you were coming in expecting me to tell you why or how courier jobs can make you look good in front of your friends, that's not what we'll be talking about here. Because (before I get deluged with emails) if you're a courier and get to be out on the road all day instead of stuck in an office, you probably already ARE the envy of all your friends!

Now we can proceed onto our topic for the week, which, as you may or may not have guessed, has to do with refrigerated vans.

Cool work for Couriers

Yes, refrigeration vans – the vehicles required if you want to carry goods that require lower temperatures. Not exactly as universal as the kind of thing we usually talk about, but hey, I'm sure it will benefit some of you out there. Besides, delivering refrigerated goods falls under the umbrella of 'courier jobs' – which means it's fair game to talk about here!

Nifty Conversion Kits

Anyway, what I really wanted to talk about was these conversion kits I read about (I'm not the only one making puns as you can see by the title of this article), which can turn a regular old van into a moving freezer. They're only available for a particular couple of Volkswagen vans so far, but I found them so clever I thought I'd bring them to your attention. Basically, the way the whole thing works is you pay a specialised company to convert the back of your van (with their nifty kits) into a mobile refrigeration unit – and voila, the range of courier jobs you can carry out has expanded quite a lot.

Like I said, right now, these kits are only available for Volkswagen vans, but the company that makes them works with all kinds of different manufacturers, so even if you have a different brand of van, you may still be able to get your hands on one of these kits and get your vehicle converted in the not to distant future.
Well, that's about it, really – just a useful little innovation I found while browsing for topics online and wanted to share with you all. Job done, so now I'm off to enjoy the sunshine!

Ta-ra!
