Hello, my dears!

Well, the last post (where we talked about why networking was important when setting out to do self employed courier driver jobs) certainly went over a treat. So much so, in fact, that I have decided to make this the theme for the entire month of September!

That's right, over the next few weeks we'll be discussing some of the most important aspects to consider when first starting in the world of self employed courier driver jobs. I know, for many of my readers, this may not be as interesting a topic, being self-employed drivers yourselves, but please, bear with me - the newbies have a right to know about this sort of thing.

With that said, let's get right into today's topic: the importance of learning from your peers when first starting out as a self-employed courier driver.

Shared Experience

In any profession, it's beneficial for someone with less experience to learn from someone who already knows the ins and outs of the field. Self employed courier driver jobs are no different. New drivers can learn loads (pardon the pun!) from interacting with older hands, be it in terms of tips on how to speed up delivery times, the do's and don'ts of the business, or any other relevant pieces of advice about the process of being a self-employed courier.

This is another reason why courier networking sites are good for the industry – rather than each new driver just learning from one or two veterans around them, he or she can reach out to dozens more, and learn from the experiences they share as well.

Whether you're learning from two or twenty, though, make sure you take it all in – chances are, you'll need it later.

I'll leave you to it, then! Ta-ra.
