What Kind of Courier Jobs Do You Do?

Posted by Gertie on 02-Feb-2015 11:49:39

Hello my dears! I hope everyone's 2015 has started off on the best foot possible, and that your month of January was productive and lucrative and all those other things we always wish for people we like! At my end, things have been quiet – it's quite chilly out most days, and the roads are a bit treacherous, so not many people venture out unless they have to. The only visitors at my cafe have been a few regulars who live nearby, and who come in for their scrambled eggs or bacon buttie more out of habit than anything else. Still, can't complain – they're keeping us in business!

The Importance of Courier Exchanges to Freight Transport

Posted by Gertie on 22-Jan-2015 13:03:19

Hello my dears!

Well, you saw what the last post was – a somewhat different than usual 'reader poll/question of the day', so I suppose you know what we'll be dealing with on this week's blog post. That's right – your answers! As usual, there were plenty of good ones to pick from, which made it really hard for me to choose only a few. (And yes, I'm aware that I always say this, but it's true every single time! What else am I supposed to say?)

Hello dearies!

Well...here we are again! Another week, another post. I can't believe I'm still doing this so long after I started the blog and, more importantly, that you're all still reading it. It's enough to warm an old lady's heart.

Hello darlings!

Well, even as January has rolled around and business at the café begins to pick up again, I will still find time to come up here and check on you lot at least once a week. After over four years of you showing up whenever I ask you to and giving me so much material to write about, it is the least I could do, isn't it?

Tales From The Frontline: My Freight Transport Initiation

Posted by Gertie on 27-Dec-2014 11:56:18

Hello, all!

Well, I said I wanted to close out this month of fan interactions with a bang, and I almost managed to. Our last story may not be all that impactful, but it's just as adorable as the one we had last time, about the couple who met through the freight transport platform. In Jill and Tom's case, they were already dating when this story takes place – but it is still a romantic romp well worth sharing! So without further ado, here it is in their own words.

Hello, all!

Well, our reader-story-sharing month (which I have decided to rename 'Tales From The Frontline' – somewhat catchier, wouldn't you say?) continues apace. This week, I have had another good batch of 'tall tales' to choose from, but in the end I chose to publish Scott's. He lives in the East Midlands, and sent me a story about a time when a courier network not only helped him do better business, but also changed his life. Take it away, my dear.

Courier Driver Tales: All Aboard!

Posted by Gertie on 11-Dec-2014 11:50:09

Hello, you lot!

Well – ask and you shall receive! Ever since announcing on the last post that this month would be dedicated to hearing first-person accounts of courier driver tales, anecdotes, and adventures, I've received more of them than I can shake a mouse at! I really don't know why Stevie didn't get that much participation from you people when he tried this a while back – were you all shy? You're certainly not shy with me!

Courier Driver Tales Month Begins

Posted by Gertie on 03-Dec-2014 11:47:37

Hello, my dears!

You know, I was sitting around the other day wondering what to write this week when it suddenly occurred to me: with the amount of stories I hear at my cafe every day, why I had I not tried to do a fan interaction based on stories from the road?
