I'm afraid August is turning into a bit of a serious month – I mean, we haven't had one of our fan interactions or anything, and here it is the last week already! But I also think, now and again, it doesn't hurt to be a little more serious, wouldn't you agree?

The other day, going through some archival posts, I noticed a glaring hole in our article pool. I noticed that, while I talked about some variation of the words owner driver almost every other week, I had never actually bothered to define where the limits of this professional title begin and end. That is to say, I had offered plenty of advice to this type of contractor, but never given my readers any way of checking whether or not they fell under that umbrella!

As promised in my last post, this week I will be analysing the pros and cons of being a more experienced (or ‘mature’, if you will) owner driver, as opposed to a young hopeful. As I also mentioned last week, this will be the first in a two- or perhaps three-part analysis of age with regards to courier and delivery jobs. The conclusion I’m trying to reach? Well, none in particular, really. I just thought this might be an interesting theme to discuss for a couple of posts. Besides, it’s my blog, I do what I want, and you can’t stop me!
