You see, ever since I took up delivery work to help out Stevie, I’ve been having a smashing time. At first, it was just going to be a temporary thing, but I’m having so much fun that sometimes I wonder if I should sell the cafe and just do this until it’s time to retire!

I know I had promised to share some of my experiences working as a delivery driver for my nephew’s new company – and those are still stored for future use – but I happened to come up with a great idea for one of our good old-fashioned discussions, which I just could not pass up. I’m afraid today, I am going to be on my soapbox a little. I’ve been extremely positive this month, what with the good news about Stevie’s new company and everything, but there’s something I have to get off my chest this time around. It’s not even aimed at you in particular, it’s just a general gripe I have now that I’ve worked as a courier for a little while.

Well, I told you on the last post to stay tuned, and here’s why – more exciting news from Camp Gertie! I was really having to hold back not to spill the beans last time, but Stevie had asked me to wait until he had finished sorting out a couple of things, so I had to curb my enthusiasm. Now, however, I can say it – Stevie has opened his own delivery service!
